I am so going to do this except without the ornaments because I don't have any like that and it's June, so I don't think I'm going to find any anytime soon. I already have the basket now I just have to rummage around the house for the lights :)

Instead of glass ornaments. Blow up water balloons and the wrap the balloons with white string that has been dipped in Elmer's glue..after glue dries break balloon, ps you can tint the glue with food coloring . Of spray then with spray adhesive and sprinkle with fine glitter

Did you paint the egg basket, or leave it natural. It looks red in the pic? Love the idea...I bought an egg basket at an auction and have been waiting for an inspiring idea to use it...this would b great!
