Your friends at Craft Attitude have invited you to celebrate the land of the free with a bunch of project ideas! Jonathan Fong and myself are kicking off the festivities with some Craft Attitude appetizers. He's made some fun party lights and I'm sharing a pendant you can make using children's art.
I got this picture from my best friend's daughter, Lily. Some tips when using children's art are:
- Use thick line drawings (pencil lines are too thin and get lost on the film). Thumbs up for crayons and markers!
- Scan or take a picture of the drawing and resize it to fit the pendant over at PicMonkey.com.
- Bump up the contrast on your image at PicMonkey.com too!
For this pendant, I cropped a section of the drawing. Who can resist a big smiley face self portrait?
Print the image onto your Craft Attitude film and use a glue stick to adhere it to the glass slide. Hang it on a chain or leather cord with a jump ring!
